Once when I was a kid the phone rang and I thought it was a machine, so I hung up. It wasn't, and he called back and asked to speak to my mother. I didn't get in trouble, but I have never forgotten. Now at work, whenever I get a phone call and I think it is a machine, even if I am like 95% positive( I will never again be 100% positive) it is a machine, I always always ask "is this a machine?" before hanging up. It always is, but I think I will always ask...just in case it isn't.

Work

We have a postage machine at work. If it hasn't been in use for awhile the ink will not print properly. There is a maintenance funtion on it which purges the ink jets so it will print correctly. After it gets done it prints a test. To amuse myself I keep a piece of paper by the postage machine and see how many of the test prints I can fit on one page. This is that paper.

Cable television

I am house sitting right now and enjoying the cable television. Flipping through the channels I came across "Gordon Ramsay's F Word." This is the description: Gordon goes fishing with his son in the Scottish Highlands. Then he uses an old car to smoke salmon. Also: Meat Loaf challenges the host to top his tuna bake. I am not going to watch this show but MAN that description really makes me want to.

I don't know anyone who would put their suitcase in a box to move. Also, who the hell buys boxes for their mattress and bicycle. Even if moving cross country, or out of country, that's just silly.

This amount of peanuts is also silly. The description for this item says they are the "warehouse favorite" because of their ease of use.
