Shoes

I'm on the hunt for some brown work shoes and I really like these.

One of the managing directors in the office I work for has a pretty sweet job. He reads articles in magazines. He puts post-it notes on the magazines with instructions about which articles he wants copied and puts the magazines in his outbox. He will not tell me he has done this. I have to check religiously. Usually I forget and when I walk by and see stuff sitting in his outbox I kick myself because he can't complete the next part of his job until I copy these articles. So I copy them. Then I put them on the left bottom-most corner of his desk, not stapled. Sometimes he wants the magazine back (which he will indicate on the aforementioned post-it note) but most of the time I take the magazine and replace last weeks issue on one of two tables in the sitting area. Next he will write on each copied article what he wants done with it. Sometimes it should be filed. Sometimes it should get mailed to someone or given to someone else in the office. So when I happen to walk by again and see these articles in his outbox, again I take them and distribute them. I put them in envelopes and send them to whomever he has noted. If it is to be delivered to someone in the office, I walk the fifteen steps to the room next door and give it to them. Sometimes this managing director will go to the restroom or even leave for the day, walk right past my desk, and I will walk to the back of the office to check on something, and sure enough, there is something in his inbox he could very easily have dropped off on his way out. Sometimes this bothers me. And then I remember that I'm getting paid and I go order the groceries.
